Tori Amos Picture
Born Myra Ellen Amos, the daughter of Reverend Edison Amos and Mary Ellen Amos, on August 22, 1963, in North Carolina. She was a piano prodigy from the beginning, playing by ear at age 2 1/2, and writing her own songs by age 4. It's been said that by age 5, she could play anything on the piano after hearing it only once. She won a scholarship at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, Maryland - the youngest person ever to be admitted there. She always ran into trouble there, as they discouraged her from composing her own music.

Cruel Lyrics

Tori Amos

So dont give me respect dont give me a piece of your preciousness
Flaunt all shes got in our old neighbourhood
Im sure shell make a few friends
Even the rain bows down let us pray as you cock-cock-cock your mane
No cigarettes only peeled havanas for you I can be cruel
I dont know why
Why cant my ba.ll.oo.n stay up in a perfectly windy sky
I can be cruel I dont know why
Dance with the sufis celebrate your top ten in the charts of pain
Lover brother bogenvilla my vine twists around your need
Even the rain is sharp like today as you sh-sh-shock me sane
No cigarettes only peeled havanas for you I can be cruel
