Tori Amos Picture
Born Myra Ellen Amos, the daughter of Reverend Edison Amos and Mary Ellen Amos, on August 22, 1963, in North Carolina. She was a piano prodigy from the beginning, playing by ear at age 2 1/2, and writing her own songs by age 4. It's been said that by age 5, she could play anything on the piano after hearing it only once. She won a scholarship at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, Maryland - the youngest person ever to be admitted there. She always ran into trouble there, as they discouraged her from composing her own music.

Bachelorette Lyrics

Tori Amos

Bachelorette, you climb on rooftops and you
Bachelorette, you can turn dust into champagne
You even dream about his name
Bachelorette, the braves you pain
The pain
Oh, bachelorette
You tried to show him that he can
But you can never rush a man
You must remember
Youre a car girl, youre star girl
You are at the door
The tide will turn
Theres a window
Theres a window
Yeah, da-darm
You climb on rooftops and you umm...
You tried to show him that he can
But you can never rush a man
Yeah, no, say bachelorette
The things you do girls to your bachelorettes
You thoughts that um...
You must remember
Youre a car girl, youre a star girl
Youre at the door
The tide will turn
Theres a window
Theres a window
Bachelorette
You fly alone and when you cry sometimes
Theres nothing like it in the world
Youll go to paris on your own
Oh, just bachelorette
You climb on rooftops and you bachelorette
You can turn dust into champagne
You even ya-di-di-di-di-iy-iy-iy
Fuck
